Hi, I’m Thomas. But in a way, aren’t we all? I’ve been a photographer for more than 30 years, so I’m no hashtag hustler.  

I’m the real deal. 

In my former life, I was a high school English teacher and yearbook adviser, where I spent a lot of nights and weekends covering school and community events. 

Along the way, I’ve shot corporate and community gatherings, live music and performing arts—and a few weddings along the way. 

(Not school-related weddings—that would be weird.) 

I’ve also shot a wide variety of sports from soccer, football, and lacrosse, to baseball, volleyball, and basketball. I’ve yet to shoot sumo wrestling, however—though I’m totally up for it if you’ve got a match or two on your calendar. 

Nineteen years in public education taught me how to adapt and think fast; it’s taught me to look beyond the surface and find the stories underneath. It’s helped me develop a greater appreciation for people and cultivate professional relationships with a personal touch.

I’ll step up like an old-school photojournalist when the big moments come and blend into the crowd to catch the candid scenes that others might miss. 

I bring a dependable, professional presence to every event, so while my style is relaxed, my standards are not.
